Valerie’s Bat Mitzvah Highlights

Valerie’s Bat Mitzvah party was at the beautiful Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ. Although it was the end of March, it was a beautiful day, which allowed us to videotape the photo session outside on the patio. They were indeed a beautiful family. Valerie was the 2nd oldest of four girls. Each one of the girls was not only adorable, but friendly and outgoing. They had the time of their lives on this day.

The DJ was EJ the DJ, a guy that always amazes me. During the cocktail hour he spends the time getting to know the kids, and there were over 100 kids at this party. In the middle of the candle-lighting, when all the kids are on the dance floor, he performs his patented skill. He introduces each child at the party with their first name. I just can’t figure out how he has the ability to memorize every kid’s name within a mere hour and a half. The crowd roared over his incredible talents.

Julie and David’s Wedding Highlights

Julie and David’s Wedding Highlights is one of my favorite wedding videos. It was a difficult wedding ceremony to shoot because it took place at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown. They have a deacon, translated to church lady, whose job it is to make it difficult for photographers and videographers. They have rules for everything. We were not allowed to stand at the end of the aisle to get the processional and they forced us to be in a little window above the sanctuary, where there were all kinds of obstructions to our view. Since I had shot there before, I knew what to expect. Our main camera was up in the little hole, but I sat with my smaller video camera in the pews, in the 2nd row with the immediate family. I pretended to be Aunt Bonnie, and all the family members protected me from the church lady, who was rather suspicious of me throughout the ceremony. I felt like a member of the CIA. When I got home and looked at the great shots I had gotten hiding behind the mother of the groom, I was thrilled!!

The reception also provided a variety of issues. It was held at the Highlawn Pavillion in West Orange, New Jersey. It is a beautiful place, with an incredible view of the New York City Skyline, but… It has the oddest shaped room. It is in the form of a “T”, you can’t even see the dance floor from probably about 60% of the tables.

Michael Burton Football Recruiting Video

Michael Burton was the star running back and linebacker for the 2009 West Morris Central Wolfpack Football Team. Michael led his team to a State Championship at the Meadowlands in December. We have created for Michael several videos since his sophomore year in High School, all used as recruiting tools that were sent to many of the top football colleges in the country. This sports video is a segment of his final recruiting video, that helped land him a position on the Rutgers Football team. In all my years of creating these recruiting videos, I have never seen a better player. He is so exciting to watch. You never know where he is going to end up on the field, you just know it’s going to be in the end zone.

We have videotaped and edited recruiting videos for well over a hundred student athletes in New Jersey. Although football is our number one sport, we have also created videos for soccer, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, softball, field hockey, ice hockey, tennis, and volleyball.

Roxbury High School Field Hockey

Here is a small segment of a highlight video that we created for the Roxbury High School girls’ Field Hockey team. This segment was of the team having a practice a few days before a big game. We not only tape their games, but also provide great fun footage in the locker room, and as with this video segment, even at practice.

As with most high school varsity sport teams, there is an end of the season banquet, that celebrates the accomplishments of the team and concentrates on the senior players. We create end of the season Highlight Videos for all sports, not just field hockey. We also do football, soccer, ice hockey, lacrosse, basketball, softball, baseball, and wrestling videos that are shown at the banquet. After the video is shown on our projection system at a catering hall, the sport’s booster club provides each of the senior athletes with a gift, a copy of the highlight DVD.

One of the most unique aspects of our videos is that they always include a “senior tribute,” where we create a photo montage from baby pictures of each of the graduating seniors. There never is a dry eye in the house: the moms, dads, and even the athletes themselves always get choked up as they watch the evolution of their sports career. Most of the senior varsity players will never again experience the camaraderie of being part of a sports team. Our videos celebrate their accomplishments and their history.

Rose and Tad’s Wedding Concept Video: “Love on the Tracks”

Rose and Tad wanted to do something special to show their guests at their wedding reception held at the Bridgewater Manor in Bridgewater, NJ. We developed for them a silent movie called “Love on the Tracks.” In the style of these old movies, Rose was the damsel in distress, and ofcourse, Tad was the hero.

When the film was shown at their reception, the crowd went wild. We had so much fun videotaping and editing this video, but nothing could compare to the reaction it received, when we got to show it in front of a live audience.

Roxbury’s Senior Prom

Roxbury’s Senior Prom was at the Villa in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. Here are some scenes of the kids dancing the night away. We created a video called Memories of the Class of 2009, which packaged together not only the prom, but commencement and their all night Project Graduation Party. I have been making these videos for the Roxbury seniors since 1987.

Roxbury Project Graduation 2009

Roxbury High School again had its Project Graduation at the Fun Plex in East Hanover. We videotape this event along with the Senior Prom and their Commencement Exercises and put it all together on one DVD called. Memories of the Class of 2009. We have been doing this since Project Graduation was invented in 1987. All New Jersey schools sponsor these events to provide the graduates with a safe drug and alcohol-free environment to celebrate.
