Your child's Bar/Bat Mitzvah will be a memory to cherish forever. The accomplishment of learning to read from the Torah in front of family and friends is filled with emotionalism and excitement. The party that follows is a celebration of this milestone. So often so much attention is paid to the selection of a caterer, finding the appropriate entertainment, picking a theme and decorating the room; and in a mere five hours after the party begins, all you have left are your memories. It is our objective at D-Vision to help you preserve those memories for posterity with crystal clear images and sound.

 

D-Vision has become the premier videographer for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs in Northern New Jersey for a variety of reasons. We understand the traditions of this very symbolic event. Bonnie, president of D-Vision, is herself a Mitzvah Mom, having planned her own twin sons' B'Nai Mitzvah. Her philosophy is quite simple: to capture the true meaning of the day. If we are permitted by your temple's regulations we can videotape the service or the rehearsal. We then focus on the party and capture the excitement in celebrating the joy of the event.

 

At D-Vision, we pride ourselves on our unobtrusiveness. We use professional 3-chip digital cameras that create phenomenal images, even in low light. Our goal is to be practically invisible, and yet at the same time to capture the moments that shape a lifetime. The focus of the mitzvah video is on the traditions and emotions expressed on this very special day. Hours are spent on the editing process to make sure each detail is not overlooked: the twinkle in Grandpa's eye as he recites the motzee over the challah, Grandma hugging her grandchild as she gets to light her candle on the cake, Mom and Dad as they toast their child's accomplishment, and the total joy on your child's face as he/she is being raised to the ceiling on a chair during the hora. At D-Vision we also help to create wonderful photo montages to be displayed at your party on a large screen projection system. Our First Thirteen Years montages are unique tributes to your son or daughter. As compared to other companies, we will spend the time with you organizing your photos into a cohesive and sentimental journey. You can select photographs, digital images or video clips to include in your montage. We have a very large selection of music to help you set the mood for the emotions you want to convey. The montages are always on DVD, and we provide enough copies on the day of the event not only for you, but also for the “quvelling” grandmas and grandpas!

D-Vision’s Concept Videos

If you really want to wow your guests, you may want to allow us to create for you a concept video to show at the party, usually right before the entrance of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah child. It is your own Hollywood production. We work with you on developing a script and several weeks before the event we will arrive with our camera crew to film your child’s Oscar worthy performance. Our concept videos are typically filled with humor. It can be related to the theme of your party or something that reflects unique characteristics or your child or your family. These concept videos set the tone for a fantastic party. Be prepared for a standing ovation as your child enters the room!!

Simulcast Video

 

You might decide to have your party simulcast. We set up a camera and videotape the party and project it either on a large screen or on our plasma screens. Your guests can see all the significant events from any spot in the room, live as it is happening. It creates a high tech atmosphere, which adds to the décor of your party room. We will provide you with the raw footage of the video we simulcast during the party on a DVD after the festivities are over.

 

Projecting your Videos

Since you will need a vehicle to display your montage, concept video, or simulcast D-Vision can provide for you all the equipment you will need for you and your guests to view our videos. We provide an operator, a projector, a large screen, a DVD player and our own sound system or plasma screens. We take care of everything for you, all you need to do is get your tissues ready for a “good cry.”

Graphic Design

D-Vision not only creates memorable videos for your child's Bar/Bat Mitzvah, but also can provide you with Posters, Sign-in Boards or Sign-in Books, personalized logos and seating cards. Our Graphic Design department will create a unique image to capture the spirit of the day from the very simple to the elaborate depending upon your taste and your budget. Photo Favors

Photo Favors are one of the most popular features at today’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah parties.  We set up a cloth background and take digital images of your guests during the party.  After snapping the photo we print out each photo and place them in a frame for your guests to take home. Adults and children will be able to leave with a meaningful memento of your child’s party.  Your guests love the opportunity to capture the fun they are having with family and friends. After the party is over, we will supply you with a CD/DVD of all the images we took

Event Planning

Since Bonnie has been involved in the Bar/Bat Mitzvah trade for over twenty years, she has come to personally know every vendor in Northern New Jersey. Allow her to serve as an event planner for your party . She can assist you in selecting your professional vendors such as photographers, deejays and entertainers like magicians or musicians.

After selecting your theme, Bonnie can help you design the décor for your room; opting for either flowers, themed centerpieces, or balloons. She will not only assist you in choosing favors for your guests, she can make suggestions for the perfect venue for the party you have always dreamed of throwing. Bonnie’s clients always rave about her professionalism and her warmth. Bonnie, the Mitzvah Maven, pays attention to every detail and will remove the stress of what can be an overwhelming task of putting together the party of the year!!
